·         Provides timely, accurate and courteous beverage service to all guests while maintaining a clean, organized and safe work environment.

·         Follows all cash handling procedures as described in department specific cash handling procedures and internal controls.

·         Assures all drink requests are properly entered correctly on MICROS systems.

·         Adheres to all service standards.

·         Abides by all laws pertaining to service and sale of alcoholic beverages as provided in property alcohol management program.

·         Performs all duties as described in assigned sidework sheets.

·         Acts as a role model to other employees and always presents oneself as a credit to Harrah’s and encourages others to do the same.

·         Adheres to all regulatory, company and department policies and procedures.

·         Completes all other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications


·         Must be at least 21 years of age.

·         High school diploma or equivalent required.

·         Prior restaurant experience preferred.

·         2 years service experience preferred.

·         Knowledge of all drinks, recipes and garnishes.

·         Ability to be flexible with scheduling needs.

·         Follows uniform guidelines.

·         Excellent guest service skills.

·         Clean and neat appearance.


·         Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and carry objects weighing up to 50 lbs.

·         Must be able to work in areas containing secondary smoke, high noise levels, bright lights and dust.

·         Position requires 50% standing, 50% walking.

·         Requires frequent bending, pushing, twisting, kneeling, climbing, stooping and reaching overhead.

·         Must be able to respond to touch, speech, smell, aural and visual cues.

·         Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment involving constant internal and external customer contact.
