JOB SUMMARY:

Deals Poker games in accordance with applicable laws and company policies and procedures.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Greets guests, provides information about the game, answers any questions players may have about procedures, and provides instructions to the players as needed. Collects rake at the end of each bet and upon completion of the game, dropping the rake into the table drop box; assures accuracy of the rake count. Ensures the integrity of the game, and provides an enjoyable gaming experience. Maintains a working knowledge of company policies, internal controls and applicable laws.

Job Qualifications

EDUCATION/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

Successful completion of an approved course of study in the game for which licensed as a dealer. Proven knowledge and experience on the assigned game required. (Lengths of experience should be commensurate with the level of skill required for the specific game.) Must be 21 years of age or older. Must be able to obtain a Mississippi Gaming License.

PHYSICAL, MENTAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:

Must be able to maneuver to all areas of the casino

Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds

Must be able to bend, reach, kneel, twist and grip items while working at assigned table area.

Must be able to work at a fast pace and in stressful situations.

Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.

Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues.
