Provide Salon services such as haircuts, styles, updos, coloring, perms, highlights to Harrah's Laughlin clientele as well as provide other services offered by Harrah's Laughlin which fall under Cosmetologist training; ex. manicures and pedicures.  Must be Nevada State Board Certified.

Treats all guests according to established  Service Standards, and always conducts oneself professionally.  Ensures that customer safety is a priority.  Ensure cleanliness and proper sanitation of all tools and work areas.  Prepares work area before and after each service is performed.  Assists in the ordering and receiving of Spa and Guest supplies, as well as retail and back bar items.  Is diligent in ensuring expenses are managed to maximize revenues for the Spa/Salon.  Assists in the training of new hires and all Spa staff on cosmetology services offered and products available.  Keeps accurate report logs and commission reports as required; all logs and reports are submitted within established time limits.  Ensures that all keys are handled according to Harrah's Key Control policy.   Assists the Spa Front Desk during high volume  periods or break times if available.  Assists with any other additional tasks in the Spa/Salon as directed by the supervisor or manager.  Must be able to perform services within established time frames.  Must work well with Management, other Spa team members, and employees from other departments, and must exhibit a high level of team work.  Must make constructive and productive use of any down time.  Must be able to provide suggestions and feedback on current services and potential new services to offer.  Must complete all required property and department training in a timely manner ot include renewing professional licensing.
